Global Play Coming to StarCraft
Global Play Coming to StarCraft

As many of you likely know, starcraft 2 is region-locked, meaning you cannot play with people who live in different areas. A Global Play option, similar the one in Diablo 3, will be added to Starcraft 2 in a future patch. With global play, you will be able to switch which region you are playing on, allowing you to battle with friends from across the world. BasharTeg Nov 10, 2012 at 23:50 UTC - 0 likesDoes this mean you will be able to personally publish maps in other regions? That would be useful...

"Players will be able to freely switch between regions via the StarCraft II login screen."

JakeCake26 Nov 10, 2012 at 18:03 UTC - 0 likesAwesome news, I have all regions already, but with this it seems like it's going to be a simple option in the settings menu instead of me using 50Gb for a seperate installs for each region. Can anyone confirm this?
