Diablo II meet Starcraft II by Egodbout

From the maker of Diablo: The Curse of Tristram and Zelda RPG comes another epic looking project, this time around a Diablo II port to SC2. Below is only a small preview of what he hopes to achieve with his map. As you can see, he uses some awesome 3D custom art from the original game, combined with carefully placed lighting effects to really show what Diablo fells like.

meh , ill buy diablo 2 for 20$ and play that....lol think it even comes with D1 and SC1... lol

This statement is what separates mappers from players very jaded response

no, cause i dont want to recreate Diablo2

i use Diablo2 Titlesets so yeah, the *storyline* will have lot of Diablo2 stuff, its actuelly in the same world

The gameplay will be similar

Someone made a Diablo 1 map for SC2, it's almost exactly like it. I forget the name, but it should be the bar for these kind of ports.

first of all, this is just a Tech demo video

Its actuelly a big reboost of my Diablo: The curse of Tristram RPG with Diablo2 Titleset and 3D

i can confirm this video is NOT a fake and more comming.
